About Us

CalvaryWeb is a ministry of Calvary Chapel of Vista, in southern California.

We believe the Lord has called us to come along side to help Calvary Chapel churches and ministries use the Internet to feed the sheep and equip the saints for the work of the ministry. Some of the ways we do this are by helping churches get live webcasts of their church services up and running, hosting websites, and providing honest, clear, and correct resources for any Calvary Chapel.

We utilize top notch security experts to build our servers and manage our firewalls and infrastructure which is located in a world class modern data center. The vision the Lord gave to us is to run servers that only have live webcasting and websites endorsed by Calvary Chapel senior pastors and our board.

This is a ministry as opposed to a business which has implications in everything we do. Our staff and volunteers are delighted to serve the body through CalvaryWeb so that the truth of the gospel and the unfathomable riches of God's grace might be proclaimed out over the Internet in these last days.

This also means we look to the Lord to fund our expenses and also charge minimal amounts for each church and ministry to be able to participate in a fair share of the costs. A number of churches regularly add to the minimal charges a monthly donation so as to allow the ministry to expand and particularly benefit the smallest Calvary Chapel Bible studies and outreaches around the world.

Our Beliefs:

  • We believe the Bible to be the only inspired, inerrant, infallible, and authoritative word of God.
  • We believe there is one God who eternally exists in three persons, the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit.
  • We believe that Jesus Christ, the second person of the Holy Trinity, was born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, died a sacrificial death for the sins of the world, rose bodily from the dead, ascended into heaven, and is coming again to judge the living and the dead and to establish God's kingdom of righteousness and peace on the earth.
  • We believe in the depravity of man. Man, in his essential being, is sinful and incapable of meriting God's favor.
  • We believe that salvation is by grace, through faith alone in the Person and finished work of Jesus Christ on the cross.
  • We believe in the sovereignty of God and the free will of man.
  • We believe that there is a baptism with the Holy Spirit that is subsequent to salvation.
  • We believe in the perpetuity of the gifts of the Holy Spirit and that the gifts of the Spirit are essential to fulfill Christ's purpose for the Church.

  • We believe that the Church exists to worship God, edify itself in love, and to proclaim the gospel of Jesus Christ to a lost world.
  • We believe in the sufficiency of the Scriptures and the Holy Spirit to supply us with all things that pertain to life and godliness.
  • We believe in a pre-tribulation rapture of the Church, and the pre-millennial return of Jesus Christ to the earth.

"There are diversities of gifts, but the same Spirit. There are differences of ministries, but the same Lord. And there are diversities of activities, but it is the same God who works all in all. But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to each one for the profit of all." 1 Corinthians 12:4-8 NKJV
